WhiteLine Creative worked with our client Big Storm Brewing Co. to create a 30/15 second broadcast commercial. We worked closely with Big Storm’s internal marketing team and crafted a a commercial concept geared towards branding their beer and it’s identity in the local marketplace. The two spots that were created are title That was a Big Storm (:30) and I’ll have another Big Storm (:15). WhiteLine Creative handled all creative after which we partnered with Kestum Bilt for Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production support.

For Pre-Production, WhiteLine Creative staged and filmed the entire commercial then edited it together in order to guarantee that all of our angles, action and lens choices would work with the quick one day shooting schedule.

Production was a quick one day shoot starting at midnight running until 6 AM the next morning.  Big Storm’s Taproom has one wall of glass so WhiteLine’s Andrew Ortoski and his Gaffer Beau Williams blacked out the entire 72 x 20 area in order to ensure proper exposure, background consistency and to cut any reflections. The commercial was filmed using our in-house Arri Alexa XT and Zeiss CP.2 lenses.

For Post-Production, WhiteLine edited the spot before passing it off the post sound and VFX teams. 4K FX Solutions composited and animated the the eye galaxy sequence as well as adding digital bubbles and cleaning up the bar top and atmosphere. Afterwards, the project came back to WhiteLine Creative for Color Grading.

The project took about a month to complete from inception to final network delivery.
